I am so excited about Hero Day at The Edge Church this weekend. We are expecting overflowing crowds at our services this weekend as we
honor our local heroes. During our services we will be thanking and appreciating all of our veterens, active military, police officers and
firefighters. We will also have a Heroes Drawing where we will give away Amazon Kindles to two heroes.
I am also so thrilled that the 10th anniversary of 9-11 falls on a Sunday. After all our nation has endured over the past 10 years it seems appropriate to worship the Lord on a day of such great significance.
In addition to remembering 9-11 we will also be celebrating the second anniversary of our church. Twenty-four months ago a small group of faith-filled disciples made a bold move to begin meeting weekly at Coyote Hills Elementary school for regular services. Since that time
our church has continued to grow and grow. We have so much to thank God for.
