Question: 

When was the last time you clearly heard God’s voice calling you to something?

Reflect: 

God speaks. He called Jonah by name with a particular mission in mind. Revival begins when we realize that the Creator of the universe longs to speak to us personally. God’s word comes to common people for uncommon reasons. The question is not, “Is God speaking?” but, “Are we listening?” 

Journal:

“The last time I clearly sensed God calling me was… The area where I need to listen better is… I’m avoiding God’s voice about…”

Act: (Pick 1)

• Set aside 10 minutes daily this week for silent listening prayer.

• Ask three mature believers how they recognize God’s voice.

• Write down one thing you sense God has been trying to tell you.

• Delete one distraction that keeps you from hearing God clearly.

• Start each morning this week asking “What do you want to say to me today, Lord?”

Pray: 

God, help me recognize Your voice above all the noise in my life. I acknowledge that You are the author of revival. Speak, I am listening. I choose to respond.

Gospel Focus: 

God initiates relationship with us. Before we ever seek Him, He’s already calling our name. Jesus said His sheep know His voice – revival begins when we listen to our God who is speaking.
